Novotel imagica

Novotel imagica

Novotel Imagica was a spur of the moment plan for me and it turned out to be a perfect weekend staycation. A quiet bliss away from the hustle of the city but still close enough to do a weekend trip.
The approach to the hotel was grand with tease-filled glimpses of the rides at the Imagica theme park. The fact that it was monsoon only added to the picturesque locales of this grand property.
The entrance lobby was huge and had cheery-faced Disney characters welcoming you. Great for kids that find entertainment in the hotel with or without a visit to the theme parks.
The room was lovely and luxurious with a balcony which only intensifies the scale of the space. The view from my room was stunning and overlooking the  the lavish pool area.
They have only one restaurant, ‘Square’, but it was massive and the food buffet larger than life.
We stuffed ourselves silly with the great variety of food they served. A special mention has to be made for all the fish preparations and the wok-fried rice. My personal favourite was the Goan fish curry made in green gravy with rice. The chef was very communicative and made us some ‘made to
order’ prawns as we didn’t want to eat the fried ones.

The evening brought about a cocktail making session at ‘Nitro bar’ that was so fun to make - and
even more fun with karaoke and indoor games.

The hotel offers a trek, fish spa, bar, karaoke, indoor games and many more facilities for their hotel guests.
